Joy studied under her grandmother, respected Chef Somjit Changdeang, in Thailand, benefiting from her family legacy of cooking and restaurant knowledge. Joy has spent years perfecting generational heirloom Thai recipes using the highest quality ingredients she can grow or buy.
She enjoys developing and enriching the secrets of Thai cooking through experimentation. She continually seeks new ways to broaden and enhance her customers’ experience through creative meal preparation, presentation, ambience and service.
Today, Joy owns and operates Go Vegan Cuisine in New York City, where she creates delicious and healthy Thai fusion meals from plant-based ingredients.
